- "Kiss me you idiot."
Wilbur gave a nervous laugh staring at the person and then elsewhere avoiding eye contact, “Uh…I-uh..I don’t really know you.”
"Hi, I’m Wilbur," Wilbur greeted the stranger, "Are you new around here?" he asked.
"I guess you could say that, yes!" He nodded, making his hat flop up and down. "This is my first extended visit to earth. My name’s Wander!" He offered the boy his hand with a grin. "And what’s your’s?"
"First visit to Earth, huh." Amused by the other’s enthusiasm, Wilbur grinned and shook his hand, "Nice to meet you Wander, I’m Wilbur. Oh yeah and welcome to Todayland."
"Oh really? Cool," He gave him a thumbs up before laughing at the mention of his grandfather’s behavior, "That’s good to know. He’s still like that back home. Oh yeah, he told me if you can remind him to quit loosing his teeth as time goes by," He grinned, "You know how he is, heh."
Lewis chuckled, shaking his head. “Of course he is,” he said with a sigh. But still, that was one of the things he liked, nay loved, most about his dad. He figured he got his sense of whimsy from him. “I’ll try and make sure he does more things to make sure he keeps his teeth. That might help some.”
"Yeah. Or else that one frog’ll keep stealing it.." Wilbur responded snickering. "I’m still curious how Mom actually managed to make those frogs talk and sing."
Wilbur chuckled and then quickly rose a hand when he saw one of the Lefty’s arm heading toward the girl as if to get her down. Good thing he has nice reflexes. “Whoa whoa, Lefty! She’s got this.” He reassured the butler giving a thumbs up at Jackie.
She smiled and jumped off the staff “see. Im fine”
Wilbur nodded in her direction and then gave a small pat on one of the octopus’s arms before starting to leave. “Maybe you should finish up, Lefty. Come on Jackie,” He said walking out the door, “The twins mostly hide in their planters. Or they’re sleeping in them. Weird? Yeah I know. Have you met anyone weird back at your place?” He asked as they began walking down the hallway.
